Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve: Mosca, CO - March 2016 Last weekend I posted a selfie. It was a no makeup, sitting on the couch lazy evening selfie. I didn’t really want to post it - but as part of a marketing/business coach class I’ve been taking, I said I would take and post some here and there. I wrote a short post to go with it - and very nervously hit the “post” button...I was nervous about what might happen next. * Much to my surprise, the post received an extremely positive response! I received several PMs thanking me for he message about how important is to keep going - no matter how tired we are...keep going. I rarely use my printer, but I dug out the cord, connected it and printed all the lovely notes. I want to keep them close by so I can read them often and be reminded to keep going - by all of you! * This week, while continuing to encourage us all to keep it up, keep going, keep focused - I’m sharing some older pics of the sand dunes. I’ve hiked here in all four seasons. I’ve worked here, played here and passed through so many times I can’t even count. I’ve hiked in the cold, at night, in the wrong shoes. I’ve seen the starry nights, and experienced them with someone special that made my heart race. I’ve climbed up alone, hot and miserable to reach the top and feel grateful I’d continued. I’ve sloshed in the stream with my dog and my son, and been there on the hottest days when the water had dried up for the summer. I’ve held this place in my heart for such a long time - a place like this that reminds me of why I keep going. I keep going because I can experience places like this and do the things I love if I never give up.
