Mammoth Hot Springs from the upper terrace is best described as an inside out cave. The most spectacular views are of trees that were at the wrong place at the wrong time: when the spring shifted. Also, the view of Canary Spring from the top is another “aw-inspiring/is this place even real” Yellowstone view. This area is ever-changing and some spots can grow up to a foot a year building up minerals and other material. #yellowstonenationalpark#mammothhotsprings#canaryspring
“This female Grizzly bear, known as Obsidian to photographer and 815 to bear management researchers, brings her cubs to the same area of Yelelowstone National Park,” writes #yourshotphotographer Trent Sizemore. “This spring she came out of the den with three new cubs, delighting thousands of Yellowstone visitors who have the pleasure of seeing them.” — Don’t miss Yellowstone Live tonight (June 26) at 9pm EST / 6pm PST on @natgeochannel. A remarkable moment, filled with blossoming elements all over this Yellowstone landscape, from the raging waters in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to the bright vibrance of Grand Prismatic Spring. It’s colors match most of those seen in the rainbow dispersion of white light by an optical prism.
So excited to be headed to Alaska next week. I’ve always dreamed of exploring the wilderness of Alaska since I was a kid. I’d dream of wolves and grizzly bears and just being out in the woods. I can’t believe it’s actually going to happen. Here is a special grizzly from a different wild place, Yellowstone 🐻🐻 #wildlife#nationalparks
In the animal world 🌎 🐻 ⠀ Кого мы только не видели за эту поездку🙈 Невероятное количество диких животных: медведи, ослики, куча оленей 🦌и бизонов, серого волка 🐺, сусликов, горных козлов, бурундуков 🐿.
“Filming in Yellowstone … It was pretty incredible. I mean the terrain there is beautiful… It was a haul in there, but luckily, we had horses to carry a lot of our gear. We were riding horses with the camera packs, which is kind of annoying and you’ll notice most people don’t ride horses wearing a backpack and there’s a reason for that. It hurts the shit out of your back.” We go behind the scenes with the @kgb_productions crew to talk about the making of their latest film “The Return”.
