Today’s deadlift goal- add in as much color as possible 😂 But I highly disagree with my shirt: ‘’More Squats’’ ... Yep, NO THANKS! 👌🏼 🇺🇸 Oh squats...such a love hate relationship! It’s been a while since I’ve done this weight for fahve- excited for my weight to be gradually getting back up there! Can you tell I started to get in my head after rep 3? 🙃 Making my last couple reps much harder on myself- I’m good at that! 🤪 🇺🇸 Then some light volume deadlifts and light paused bench. Nice quick session today! 🇺🇸 Looking for some easy recipes that are macro friendly? ➡️ link in bio! 😋 #lowfat#mealprep#macros#healthyrecipes#squats#deadlift#bench
As I've gotten older here's 10 things I've realized: 1) Small talk no longer excites me. If you are not traveling, #reading books, doing interesting things with your life I'm sorry but I just don't have time for worthless chit chat 2) I'd rather stay home with my family on a Friday night...get some good sleep...and get up early to watch the sunrise than go out drinking and feel like shit till noon the next day. 3) My happiness doesn't depend on people but rather on my inner self. 4) I prefer to be silent than to engage in a worthless fight. 5) That I can't force love. We are either into each other...or we are not...and that's perfectly ok with me. 6) I respect our differences. We don't need to justify ourselves to anyone. 7) I am willing to forgive you immediately and move on. I won't allow you to control my mind space for longer than a few moments. 8) I've accepted heartache. It's part of being #human. I've learned that when bad things happen I can either accept them and move on...or allow them to control my attitude. 9) It's not selfish to focus on #selfdevelopment. It's not selfish to worry about myself and my happiness first...in fact...I'm a more effective human because I choose to protect my peace rather than engage with your nonsense. You can't help others until you help yourself first! And... 10) There comes a time when you have to stop telling people what's going on in your life. It's sad but because of social media "opinions" are thrown on you at record speed and humans weren't designed to deal with this type of pressure. Suicide rates are at an all time high with young people and it seems like everyone is #addicted to prescription pills. I've decided to limit my exposure to the pressure by keeping my circle small and choosing to not give a shit about likes, followers, subscribers. comments or negative people and their opinions. Sometimes it's better to walk alone or
Fam, Remember The Universe And You Are One, Everything That Makes Up The Universe Is Inside Of You. These Changes In The Cosmos Affects The Planet's, And When The Planets Are Going Through Changes You Will Go Through Changes As Well.
Go ahead and make people uncomfortable with your joy. ⠀ ..⠀ People talk a lot about the phenomenon of “dimming your light” to make others comfortable and while it seems like a weird thing (why would we want to make us less happy or joyful than we really are just to satisfy some sad status quo?), trust me that it is a real thing. ⠀ ..⠀ I’v had friends tell me that they do not know how to be happy for me when things are going really well in my life. I’v had family members make judge-y remarks about my business success and don’t get me started on my current coworkers. I’v probably done a lot of these things in my younger years too because collectively, as a whole, our capacity for joy and pleasure and celebration of all good yummy light life stuff SUCKS. ⠀ ..⠀ Watching others experience joy, success, love, abdundance—this shit threatens people. It makes others (and us) squirm. It holds up a mirror of what’s possible and forces us to look at the part of our lives that maybe suck and you’d think we’d make sense of that and say “WOW. THAT PERSON IS KILLING IT. HOW INSPIRATIONAL. I WANT TO BE KILLING IT TOO!” But...no. We typically and unconsciously think/say some version of “WOW. THAT PERSON IS KILLING IT AND I AM NOT. HOW DARE THEY THINK THEY ARE BETTER THAN ME.”⠀ ..⠀ If you want to stop dimming your own light and let yourself enjoy more of life, it will require celebrating other people who are shining brightly and killing it. It will also require an agreement with yourself that others’ perceptions of your successes/joys/fulfillment have nothing to do with you, and should not hold a dimmer switch. Let’s stop bringing each other down and start lifting ourselves and others WAY up. ⠀ ..⠀ Show people how good life can be. Show them what courageous and unapologetic joy looks like. Laugh as loud as you want. Make piles of money and roll around it it. Kiss dogs and jump in waves and be the first one on the dance floor.
This is a 100% dry cut! I get asked a lot by clients why I cut hair dry. First of all I love the edge I can get on the hair. Cutting hair wet leaves a more blunt edge and when you cut dry it’s much softer. Second you wear your hair dry not wet, so when I cut wet I’m working off the way your hair naturally falls. Areas that bounce up like hair lines and around the ears can be detailed based on your hairs natural bounce. Hair shrinks when dry so why cut wet? Now, sometimes I do cut wet and detail dry other times I blow dry the hair smooth and then cut dry, it really depends on the shape and thickness of the hair. Also recently I learned that long ago metal in scissors weren’t strong enough to cut through dry hair. Now with modern technology scissors are strong enough to do so. Maybe that’s why we started cutting wet in the first place? Either way I love the look it gives and the texture I can achieve! 💇🏻♀️
My very pregnant wife threw me a 30th that was outta control. I had a great time. She’s a saint. My dad is a nut, and I love that guy. Happy Father’s Day to him. Thanks to all that made it and had a good time swimming and hanging with us. #thirty#love#mywife#gettingold#fathersday

Back to work today after being with my baby for over 12 weeks 😭. Although, as sad as I am to be leaving him, I know that he’s in good hands and I think I’ll be a better mom not being around him 24/7! I feel like it’s our first day of school 😂 #ootd
