On Wednesday I attended the NYU All-University Convocation. It was truly surreal to say the least and I still can’t believe it actually happened. It all feels like a dream! I still have my convocation for my graduation from the School of Professional Studies tomorrow at Radio City Music Hall, but this ceremony at Yankee Stadium yesterday was truly unique and special to say the least. Being in the stadium was overwhelming and I’ll definitely never forget the few hours I had in the stadium dedicated to my graduation. As for this last year and a half, it completely flew by. I remember traveling to my first class on the 6 train in Manhattan from my apartment and remembering how excited I was to officially start my experience as a NYU graduate student. Now to be so close to being done, it is extremely exciting and humbling. As for the future, I’m excited and nervous for what is to come but I know that even with all that is unsure, I’m lucky enough to have the best friends and family around me to support me through it all. The two most important people though are my parents. I never could have gotten into NYU, gotten through my program and do nearly as well as I did without my parents. They are truly the epitome of what it is to be selfless, caring, loving, supportive, encouraging, and truly the best parents I could have ever asked or hoped for. They show me how much they believe in me every day and I couldn’t be more thankful for them. I love them so much & words cannot explain my love for them. This graduation, my master’s degree & all my hard work is for them. Mom and Dad, thank you for always being there & for supporting me. I hope I’ve made you proud. As for the graduating class of 2019, Congratulations!!! We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #nyuclassof2019#wedidit#thanksmomanddad#iloveyou#hardworkpaysoff#nyu#newyorkuniversity#nyugraduate#nyu2019#sps#schoolofprofessionalstudies#nyusps#nyugraduation#masterofscience#mastersdegree
