WORKSHOP! This is OxArch’s first ever workshop on Urban Sketching! The workshop consists of a short talk titled ‘Seeing the World One Drawing at a Time’, followed by hands-on demonstrations of sketching and watercolour around campus. This week we welcome DSDHA as part of our lecture series. In this lecture, Associate Director Thomas Greenall will present the methodology developed by DSDHA over the course of 20 years of design experimentation and research, focusing on the techniques deployed to ‘de-construct’ The Economist Plaza’s fabric and history, with the aim to establish a dialogue with the site and define a design strategy.
