Anyone else thinking about trying @bluehousekitchendc‘s Double Chocolate Chip OREO Chunk Cookie recipe? ✋✋✋ . . . 1 cup OREO cookies, coarsely crushed (about 12 cookies) 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened (¾ cup) ¾ cup packed light brown sugar ¾ cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2½ cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup milk chocolate chips 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. In a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a stand mixer or medium sized mixing bowl, beat together butter, sugar, and brown sugar about 2 minutes until fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at at a time, and add vanilla. Slowly beat in the dry ingredients just until incorporated. Stir in the crushed OREO cookies until combined and lastly add the chocolate chips. Roll into 1½ inch balls and place 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Bake for about 7-9 minutes or until just starting to lightly brown. Enjoy with friends and family!
