Probably not gonna have bubble tea in a longggg time. On my first day in Melbourne, my housemate asked if I wanted bbt, I exclaimed yez!!! But I didn’t order because it was $7.50 🤷🏻♀️ There’s no koi here, and gongcha’s milk tea with pearls is $5.80... 😭 Please cherish your bbt in Singapore, guys. Anyway, Tiger Sugar was 30HKD, how much is it in Singapore? #omgwhereskim#hongkong
After a week of soft food diet, I finally could resume my glutton ways! My first proper meal was at @halcyoncrane at Paragon, where I had King’s Chicken Hash Benedict, Cured Sausage Shakshuka and Beef and Tomato Braised Rice 👍🏻 You’ve to try the fancy coffee cubes with orange, yuzu and passionfruit because it’s strangely, really good! #halcyoncrane
Brunch by the pool is always a good idea, yes? SE7ENTH at @oakwoodpremierouesingapore has launched a spanking new weekend brunch which promises hearty fare that won’t break the bank. Go for the Oakwood’s Big Breakfast($22) and add on the Grilled Steak or Grilled Salmon! Both the steak and salmon were really yummy and I can’t decide which I like more 🤔 The Deluxe Breakfast Pancakes with crispy Truffle Maple Wings ($18) is awesome too! Start your weekend right and bright with a sumptuous brunch by Oakwood’s infinity pool! #oakwoodpremierouesingapore
This was one of the last meals I had before I had four wisdom teeth removed and 1 cyst extenuated under general anaesthesia this morning. Regret not eating more scones and having seconds of the lobster thingy and quiche 😭 anyway, it was my first time here and I’m surprised by how affordable the afternoon tea is($48++/ per pax). Apart from what’s on the three-tier stand, there’s a mini buffet of scones, pasta, and bites such as spring rolls. I know the TWG tea and coffee is free flow but I didn’t know the dainty treats on the stand are also refillable?! The staff makes multiple rounds asking if you want more. Super worth it. I didn’t even finish everything on the stand, but I did have 3 scones. Will definitely be back !!! #fullertonbayhotel#thelandingpoint
Visited more than 40 Japanese cities/islands in 3 trips(57 days). Could have done more and better of course but most of the time I was stuck in Tokyo eating sushi and partying at jumanji55 HAHAHA. I really miss Japan and I can’t wait to go back 😢😢😢 Leaving for Melbourne in exactly a month’s time and I’m really looking forward to what’s in store for me, even though I haven’t even found my apartment. I’ll be spending a year in Aussie(if I don’t bail and come home early that is) so please visit! #omgwhereskim#kimtakesjapan
Went for the $138 omakase set at @junomakase and we told the chef that we wanted more sushi. The chef gladly obliged. The meal started with pitan tofu, oyster, bonito, and a sashimi platter, before 13 pieces of sushi were served. The meal concluded with a bowl of clam soup and a slice of musk melon. Pretty worth it, if you ask me! Our dinner was made better by super cool dining companions whom we shared sake with. ‘Twas a great night!
