➡️ Correct your form for abs ⬅️ I had some requests for my favourite abs exercises, so here are 4 of my favourite 🙌🏽The last clip shows some alternatives to planking 🤗 🔁 Try doing 45 seconds each and repeat 3-5 times 1️⃣ Toe taps: slightly lifting your shoulders off the floor can help you keep your back flat and your core engaged. 2️⃣ Bird dogs: if I had to choose just 1 abs exercise, it would definitely be that one! You want to make sure your back stays flat and parallel to the floor, it shouldn’t swing or be over bent. Keep your head in a neutral position 3️⃣ Alternate leg raises: here too, lifting your shoulders can help you keep your back flat.  4️⃣ Plank: planking is really great to strengthen your core (= flatter tummy) BUT it can be hard at first if your core isn’t so strong so I’m showing two alternatives that are easier 😁 ⛔️ Whatever exercise you do, your focus should be on CONTROLLING the movement to make sure the body parts that work are the correct ones Music is All stars - Martin Solveig (ft Alma) cc: @zoehappyfit Load more comments

SWIPE LEFT FOR BEFORE/AFTER 2015 🔙 ➡️ 2018 As promised, here’s everything about my fitness journey, I hope this answers the questions you may have 🤗 if not, let me know in the comments ⬇️ and I’ll answer them 💕 ⛔️ it didn’t take me 3 years to get where I am as I started training regularly and eating healthy right after Christmas 2016 but I just don’t have many before pics ☹️ 1️⃣ TRAINING ▪️From January to September 2017, I would train 4-5 times a week at the gym only. I didn’t know anything so I spent maybe 3-4 months trying all possible exercises ▪️Then from September to December I trained at home only and started training again at the gym around January 2018. ▪️At the moment I’m training glutes 2-3 times a week, doing the gym-based legs & glutes sessions from my guide and adding the home glutes session from my guide as well ▪️I don’t train arms specifically, I do one back session and one full body session at home, using light dumbbells, resistance bands and/or just body weight ▪️I train abs specifically once or twice a week ▪️I don’t do much cardio at the moment (mostly because I’m being lazy 😅) 2️⃣ NUTRITION ▪️Changing my diet made all the difference, I really can’t stress that enough 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽 ▪️During my whole life until I was 26, I had been eating without knowing ANYTHING about macro/micro nutrients, drinking coke instead of water 😣 and eating tons of 🍭 🍫 🍪 (cause sweet food is my weakness 🤩) ▪️Then I started researching a lot about food and nutrition, how many calories I should get and from which foods, as well as getting good healthy meals together ▪️At the moment, I don’t track calories/macros although I did for 6 months last year. I’m trying to eat healthy most of the time and I allow myself daily treats. I’m not too strict with my diet but I certainly don’t eat everything I want and I try to cook my own meals as often as
Belly sculpt, let's get it loves! 💪🏽🔥Some of my favorite core strengthening moves coupled with heart pumping cardio to shed fat. Please remember that it's not possible to spot reduce (i.e., pick and choose where we lose) fat. Targeted training can help you to build underlying muscle which will contribute to that “toned” look. 💪🏽💪🏽 However fat loss (often necessary in order for those underlying muscles to be visible) occurs on a whole body level in response to a caloric deficit. So if losing abdominal fat is a priority for you, in addition to including moves like this in a consistent routine also emphasize a SUSTAINABLE calorie deficit through proper nutrition and increasing your caloric expenditure: my personal favorites are long brisk walks, short HIIT sessions (remember these don't have to be high impact!), and full and lower body resistance training.
