I arrived in #santiago this morning. Since then I've had a hike up #cerrosancristobal and had a chance encounter with a great fly shop to get a few lucky flies within 200m of where I'm staying! Who'd have thought you can get a size 4 dry fly! @flyfishingstore.cl tomorrow some more site seeing before flying to #puntaarenas on Sunday then driving to #riogallegos @loop_tackle @troutandsalmon @orvisuk @patagoniariverguides @patagonia_flyfish @hardyfishing @skakespeare_fishing #catchandrelease#earnyourcasts I just hope that my home club #c&das voted at the AGM tonight in favour of my rule change to make all our trout fishing catch and release.
Fun in the fog with @haslerandy and @lewisprice101at the Skirrid. It was great to finally do some hike and fly after a lot of rain and strong wind here in Wales. Thanks to @airdesignparagliders for the Susi3 #lightgearjunkie Merry Christmas!
The slightly-unpoltically correct, #chernobylant. The biggest dry fly I've ever tied. Hopefully it'll bring some river monsters up in #patagonia this January. @patagonia_flyfish @hardyfishing @orvisflyfishing @fishysteff
@waitroseandpartners a really good way of reducing waste is to not wrap vegetables up in plastic. They actually come out of the ground, where they survived for months, so a few days on a shelf should be fine. They also don't need bar codes, it's actually possible to sell fresh vegetables by weight. I think this was realised thousands of years ago! @zero.waste.collective @naturalweighltd
A windy afternoon at Fochriw saw Chris on his first speed soaring flight and absolutely loving it! Luckily the weather played ball today and the students flew over 80 flights to either complete or get very close to their EP ratings. @joint_services_pg_centre #stafftraining @ozoneparagliders @gingliders
